Recent Amendments To PFS Order, 1989

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14^th June, 2000

S.O. 574(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Destructive Insects and Pests Act, 1914 (2 of 1914), the Central Government hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Plants, Fruits and Seeds (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 1989, namely:-

1. (1) This Order may be called the Plants, Fruits and Seeds (Regulation of Import into India) Second AmendmentOrder, 2000.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in theOfficial Gazette.2. In the Plants, Fruits and Seeds

(Regulation of Import into India) Order, 1989, in Schedule III, under the heading A. INSPECTION FEES, for serial numbers 3 and 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and the entries shall respectively be substituted, namely:-

3.	Seeds for sowing	(i) Upto 1 kg (ii)Above 1 kg upto 100 kg (iii)Above 100 kg upto 500 kg (iv)Above 500 kg	Rs. 100/- Rs. 100/- Rs 50/- per additional kg Rs. 5050/- plus Rs. 15/- per aditional kg Rs. 11050/- plus Rs. 5/- per additional kg
4.	Plants material ,seeds and fruits for consumption	(i)Upto 2kg (ii)Above 2 kg upto 100 kg (iii)Above 100 kg upto 1000 (iv)Above 1000 kg	Rs. 50/- Rs 50/- plus rs 5/- per additioanl kg Rs. 550/- plus Rs 2/- per additional kg Rs. 2500/- plus Rs. 75 per additional tonne.

Note : Fraction of Kg/tonne may be rounded off to the nearest unit.
