Sweet Flag has a very long history of medicinal use in many traditions as an aromatic stimulant and mild tonic. It is is highly valued as a rejuvenatory for the brain and nervous system. It is used as a remedy for digestive disorders in Ayurveda. Sweet flag oil is used to cure gastritis. It is also used in perfume industry and has insecticidal properties.|
